Short CV:

Giorgos Argitis is Associate Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Athens, Greece. He holds a BA in economics from the University of Athens, an MS from the University of London and a Ph.D from the University of Cambridge (UK). He teaches macroeconomics, Post Keynesian economics and international political economy. His research interests are Post Keynesian-Minskian macroeconomic/monetary theory and policy and Old-institutionalist/evolutionary theory. He has published four books about the Greek economy and is the author/co-author of academic papers that have appeared in, for example, the Journal of Post Keynesian Economics, Cambridge Journal of Economics, Review of Political Economy, Contributions to Political Economy, the European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies.
