Nicholas J. Theocarakis is Associate Professor of Political Economy and History of Economic Thought. He holds a BA from the Department of Economics of Athens University and a PhD in Economics from Cambridge University. He teaches in the Department since 1990. His research interests include: Political Economy, History of Economic Thought, and Political Economy of Labour. His most recent book [with Yanis Varoufakis and Joseph Halevi] is Modern Political Economics: Making Sense of the Post-2008 World, Routledge 2011.
