ΜΤΗ301-LINEAR MATHEMATICS

Course: Linear Mathematics

Code: MTH301

Semester: B

Instructor: V. Katsikis

This course is an introduction to the techniques of linear algebra in
Euclidean spaces. Topics covered include matrices, determinants, systems
of linear equations, vectors in n-dimensional spaces, eigenvalues,
numerical solution of linear systems, matrix factorizations (SVD, QR),
Moore Penrose inverse, applications in economics, social sciences, natural
sciences, and management. Also, this course is strongly supported by a
weekly MATLAB software lab.
